ABGEER Services: The water transfer initiative from the Godar Basin to the Lake Urmia Basin involves temporarily transferring water from the Kani-Sib dam in Piranshahr to the Chaparabad dam reservoir, and then to Lake Urmia. The project includes two pipeline systems, a Jaldian transfer channel, and two pumping stations with a capacity of 250 meters.

Understanding the Recognition and Justification of Water Transmission from Sardasht Dam to Nearby Basins

ABGEER Services: The project to transfer water from the Sardasht Reservoir Dam to the adjacent basins is currently under study, aiming to address the environmental issues facing Lake Urmia. According to the results of water resource planning studies, the Sardasht Dam has the capacity to transfer water at a rate of 235 million cubic meters, with a flow rate of 10 cubic meters per second. This plan involves the transfer of water to the neighboring basins of Godar-Chay, Simineh Rood, Mahabad Chay, and Zarineh Rood.
