Rehabilitation Study of Izadkhast Dam

Project Status: Completed, 2015

ABGEER Services: An investigation into the dam's instrumentation and behavior mapping system was conducted to identify areas for improvement. This investigation includes a detailed assessment of the dam's safety and stability, along with recommendations for enhancements. We collected data on the locations of geotechnical boreholes and conducted geological studies related to the design. Additionally, studies were performed to assess the dam's seismic risk, as well as to analyze the stability of the dam and its supports. A static analysis (stress-strain) of the dam's body and foundation was carried out to identify the causes of transverse and longitudinal cracks. Finally, an investigation of the dam's hydro-mechanical system was undertaken.
